Glassworking Classes

We offer a variety of glassworking classes for 2 or more people. The times vary depending on the instructor's availability at your requested time. Fore more information please email us, or give us a call.

Demonstrations for Groups:
Demonstrations at our store or at your location can be arranged. Please call or email for more information.

Group Lessons:
Group lessons are available by request, and prices are determined depending on what you would like to do. For more information please call or email.

Important Class Information:
Classes must be paid in full at time of registration. Since space is limited, your place will be reserved only after complete payment and registration are received. We will contact you, by phone or email as per your request, to confirm your presence and give you all the information and the safety rules for your specific class. All pieces made during class are yours to keep and can be picked up the day after your class.


LAMPWORK

Intro To Flameworking:

Option 1
This class teaches safety, tools, basic glass
techniques and their applications, through both observing the instructor and making your own glass pieces at the torch. Borosilica (Pyrex) glass rods and tubes are used.
(1 Class = 2.5 hours)

Maximum Number of Participants: 4
Cost: $95.00 + GST per person (Materials Included)

Option 2
This class is an extended version of option 1. You will learn to use the torch and make pendants and small sculptures. Borosilica (Pyrex) glass rods and tubes are used.
(3 x 2 hour classes or 1 x 6 hour (all day) class)

KILNWORK

Intro To Fusing:

Option 1
You will learn the proper way to handle, clean, measure and score sheets of glass. You can choose to make a combination of any 2 of the following; a pendant, earrings, a ring, or a brooch.
(1 Class = 2 hours)

Cost: $40.00 + GST (Simple Glass Colours) $55.00 + GST (Dichroic Glass)

Option 2
You will learn the proper way to handle, clean, measure and score sheets of glass. Choose from making; two coaster, a small bowl, or a jewelery set.
